Why can’t I move text to position it?
If you’re having trouble positioning text, you might be using Internet Explorer, which has compatibility issues with LunaPic’s text tool. We recommend switching to a modern browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari for a smoother experience. These browsers fully support our editing features.
Why can’t I log in to my account?
LunaPic no longer uses user accounts. Instead, images are hosted through Imgur, and we provide options to import images from various platforms (like Facebook, X, or your computer) for editing. You don’t need an account to use our tools—just start editing!
How do I combine two pictures?
To merge two images, use the Blend Tool:
- Open your first image in LunaPic.
- Select the Blend Tool from the toolbar.
- Upload your second image and position it beside the first, allowing slight overlap if desired.
- Check the “Expand Canvas” option to accommodate the larger combined image size.
- Adjust transparency or blending settings as needed, then save your work.
This creates a seamless combination of your pictures.
What do I do if a feature isn’t working?
Occasionally, some features may encounter glitches. Here’s how to troubleshoot:
- Save your current image.
- Completely close your browser (all tabs and windows).
- Reopen the browser and return to LunaPic.
- Reload your image and try the feature again.
If the issue persists, please Contact Us with details about the problem, and we’ll assist you promptly.
How do I save my image? CTRL+S
LunaPic offers several ways to save your edited image:
- Standard Save: Go to the File menu, click Save Image, and choose your preferred format or destination.
- Right-Click: Right-click the image and select Save Image As (on Windows/Mac).
- Mobile (iPhone/Android): Tap and hold the image until the save option appears.
- Quick Links: Below your image, use the “Save to: Your Computer” link or share directly to Imgur, Email, X, Facebook, or other platforms.
Pick the method that works best for you!
How do I delete my account?
LunaPic no longer requires or supports user accounts, so there’s nothing to delete. You can simply stop using the site, and no personal account data is stored.
How do I delete my image?
To remove an image from LunaPic: CTRL+X
- Go to the File menu.
- Select Close Image.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
This will also clear your editing history for that session. Note: If you’ve saved the image elsewhere (e.g., Imgur), you’ll need to delete it from that platform separately.
How do I animate an image?
To create an animation:
- Open your first image in LunaPic.
- Hover over the Animation menu in the toolbar.
- Select Add Animation Frame.
- Upload your second image as the next frame.
- Repeat this process to add more frames as needed.
- Preview your animation, adjust timing if desired, and save when finished.
Tip: Use images of similar size for the best results.
Why doesn’t my image animate after saving?
Some platforms and methods don’t support animations:
- Facebook: Automatically removes animation from GIFs.
- Windows Right-Click: Saving via right-click may strip animation—use the File > Save Image option instead.
For a working animated file:
- Go to File > Save Image and download the GIF to your computer.
- Alternatively, save it directly to Imgur via the provided link to preserve animation.
Test the file locally to ensure it animates as expected.
